Here are the quick and easy steps to apply for employment with us:


1. Identify which Zenith position(s) you are interested in being considered for. You can find our jobs listed in the Careers Opportunities section of this website or you may also find them posted on various general or benefits-related job boards.


2. Send us your resume and cover letter via email (preferred) or fax, noting which position you are interested in. Please include the job # in the subject line of the email and/or in the cover letter and be sure to attach your resume in Word or PDF format. If you have a preference for how you would like to be contacted (phone or email), please indicate that in your cover letter. Please apply separately for each position of interest. Resumes are routed to the Human Resources Recruiter assigned to that opening. See our Privacy Statement (link).


Other information that may be helpful:

• We will acknowledge receipt of your emailed resume right away with an automated response. Candidates who are selected for a phone interview will be personally contacted by the assigned HR Recruiter, usually within ten days of receipt of the resume.


• If you are not contacted personally, it means we are considering other qualified candidates or the job has already been filled. We are unfortunately not able to contact each applicant due to the high volume of resumes we receive.


• After completing phone interviews, the HR Recruiter will schedule the most qualified candidates for an in-person interview with the hiring manager. If you are scheduled for an interview, you will be asked to complete an employment application and FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) form before the interview. The HR Recruiter will give you the option of downloading the forms from our website, receiving the forms via email or completing the forms at the location of the interview, prior to meeting with the hiring manager.


• If you are a final candidate, you may be asked to undergo some testing related to the specific position, which could include an evaluation of general office skills, mathematical ability, claims knowledge and/or specific software proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.). In addition, for some positions, we require management candidates to go through a management assessment by a third party. Your HR Recruiter will inform you of this requirement prior to the in-person interview. This testing will be done at Zenith’s expense and there will be no cost to you. The testing may be done the day of your interview or scheduled for another day, at your convenience.


• If you are the final candidate, the HR Recruiter will extend an offer to you for the position, contingent upon your ability to successfully complete the rest of our process, which includes employment references, a drug screening and a background/credit check.


• If you are not selected as the final candidate, you will be notified by the HR Recruiter, by phone, email or letter, that the position has been filled or that we are pursuing other candidates.
